Cancellation and Appointment Policy

BOOKING POLICIES

  • All participants must be 18 years and older to receive any of my offerings unless special arrangements are made ahead of time.

  • Do not book an appointment for anyone else. This includes gifts for friends, partners, children, or family. Those who bypass this boundary may not be allowed to participate in future offerings. If you wish to offer a session to a loved one, please consider a gift certificate.

  • Same day appointments are not available. 

  • It is the responsibility of the client to keep their scheduled appointment. Appointment date and time can be found on their invoice and/or their calendar invite. 

  • By submitting the “Book” form (www.jennyshanks.com/book), you agree that the session you are receiving is entertainment purposes only and it is not medical advice or substitute for medical advice. Anything health-related should be consulted with a Licensed Medical Professional. Jenny has a strict policy with spirit to not discuss anything health related, death related, and she will not read into another person without their permission.

  • There must be at least 9 -12 months or more between your sessions with Jenny. 

 

PAYMENT, REFUND, ARRIVING LATE & CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Reading services are only confirmed once payment is received & must be paid prior to service. Once a date/time is agreed upon, an invoice will be sent.

  • It is the responsibility of the client to keep their scheduled appointment. Appointment date and time can be found on their invoice and/or their calendar invite. 

  • There is a 48-hour cancellation policy with a full refund minus a 10% fee incurred to process the original and refunded transaction. No show or cancellations less than 48 hours to your appointment will be non-refundable.  

  • The 48-hour cancellation policy applies for group readings. A refund will be issued minus the non-refundable deposit that was placed to secure the appointment time slot for group readings.

  • If you need to reschedule your appointment you must request the rescheduled appointment at least 48 hours prior to your appointment time. For all rescheduled appointments, we will offer you Jenny’s next availability or a gift certificate in the amount of your paid appointment. This gift certificate will be good for one year from the date of your originally scheduled appointment. 

  • Late appointments will not be accommodated for lost time. Late appointments exceeding 10 minutes will be considered a no-show and canceled without a refund. You may book another session at the full session price by visiting http://www.jennyshanks.com/book

  • No-show/missed appointments are not refunded. If you wish to rebook, you can do so by requesting a session at  https://www.jennyshanks.com/book and paying the full session price. 

 

APPOINTMENT DETAILS

  • Once you’ve paid your invoice, a calendar confirmation will be sent within 24 hours (M-F).  We assume you’ve received the invite, unless you notify us at least 24-hours prior to your appointment. Please note our email is not monitored daily. If you email the day of your reading, there is a chance you will not receive a response. 

  • Virtual readings are done via Zoom. Call-in information for phone readings and a link for video readings will be sent with a calendar invite once payment has been received. 

  • In-person readings are done at Jenny’s office at Foxhollow Farm. Details including how to find Jenny’s office and the phone number to text her when you arrive will be sent with your calendar invite once payment has been received. 

  • Please note there is a sitting fee for those joining private readings. If someone joins without paying the sitting fee, they will be asked to leave and/or your appointment will be canceled. You can find more information by visiting, http://jennyshanks.com/services/

 

DIGITAL PRODUCTS, GIFT CERTIFICATES, EVENTS, IN-PERSON WORKSHOP POLICIES

  • All digital products (including but not limited to digital downloads, digital workshops, virtual classes, and online courses etc.) are non-refundable.

  • Events: All events in-person and digital events are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by Jenny Shanks, LLC.

  • In-person workshops are final sale. The only consideration for a refund is in the event of an emergency and a credit for a future workshop could be considered. If the event is cancelled by the organizer and/or the venue, a refund or credit will be offered.
